Here is a great review that a client left for us from a home inspection and septic inspection that we did for them in Schodack NY

“Jay did an exceptionally thorough job with their inspection. They started by arriving at the property early and walking around, noting issues outside, which we waited for the realtor to open the building. They let me follow them around and pointed out various areas of concern and also areas that were well done. They took pictures of everything (literally they must have taken 250 pictures). I am surprised by how much these two guys know – they answered every question I asked. Several times they noticed something and then predicted what would happen when we turned the item on, and it happened exactly as they said.
Just a few examples of the thoroughness of their inspection: He noticed an access panel to get into the attic crawl space and he literally crawled through the entire attic for 20 minutes so he could document the condition of the roof from underneath. Jay literally dug out two parts of the septic system to diagnose a potential problem that we could have down the road. Both of these guys went well beyond what I would have normally expected from an inspector.
The inspection lasted about 3 hours. Honestly, the real estate agents were getting a little bothered that they were taking so long, but I was more than happy to let them take their time. They took every minute of that time to look at every part of the property and explain everything to me that they noticed might potentially be a problem.
Once they were finished, I was told that I would get a complete report of the inspection within a day or so. Before the end of the afternoon I had the inspection report in my email and the next morning I received the septic system report. Both were well documented (the home inspection itself had 59 pages). Both were filled with pictures and diagrams along with descriptions of what each of them noticed.
I have to say again – what an outstanding job! Old fashioned customer service along with expertise – not easy to find both in one package.”
